French Wine Tasting
in Naperville!

Please join us at our Naperville store on Friday, May 18 at 7:00pm for a tasting of more than 30 wines from the country that produces more fine wines than any other country in the world, France.

We will have wines open from most of the major appellations: Bordeaux, Burgundy, Rhone Valley, Loire Valley, Alsace and will even have a Champagne for you to enjoy! You will taste the graceful Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Burgundy, the powerful Cabernet and Merlot from Bordeaux along with terrific Grenache/Syrah blends from the southern Rhone. In one and a half hours you will get a basic education of French wine. This is a fun and casual way to expand your wine horizons!

Johannes Selbach of Selbach-Oster is one of the most respected winemakers in all of Germany. With amazing vineyard holdings in the middle Mosel villages of Zelting, Wehlen and Graach, Selbach crafts some of the most important and most delicious Rieslings in the world.

Join Johannes and us at one of Chicago's most exciting new restaurants "Yusho", on Tuesday, May 22nd. Chef/owner Matthias Merges spent 14 years as Executive Chef of Charlie Trotters. Already dubbed a "Best of 2012" by Chicago Magazine, Yusho focuses on "Yakitori", a Japanese "street food" that is brought to an entirely new level by Chef Matthias. This will be an amazing event, featuring an in-depth exploration of Selbach's stunning Rieslings matched with some of the most exciting food in Chicago. Do not miss!
